The Amplified version explains what this change of life is meant to look like; “…that God’s kindness leads you to repentance [that is, to change your inner self, your old way of thinking—seek His purpose for your life].” Without God all I have are my own corrupted thoughts and feelings to guide me, and the Bible is clear that they cannot be trusted to get me anywhere good! But alive in Christ I now have His mind and I can seek His good, pleasing and perfect will! Lord, thank You for Your kindness in saving me, now lead me into that radical life change. Holy Spirit would You renew my thoughts and attitudes so I can think, speak, and act more like Jesus! Amen 🙏🏼
