It’s easy to rejoice when good things happen, but it’s not our go to place when we encounter more challenging situations. But we’re not told to rejoice about the circumstances but to rejoice in the Lord. It safeguards my faith when I can rejoice in the fact that God is with me, that He is still working His purposes out in my life and that He always has a plan. No matter how confusing or troubling things may get at times God is not panicking and He has the power and the wisdom to lead me safely on as I rejoice in Him, as I hold on to Him and as I grow in hope and faith. He is my anchor! How about you?
