God is not a dictator here demanding my affection to stroke his ego. This command is for my benefit! As I put my will into action and love Him by seeking to put Him first in everything I do, my life then aligns with His, He gets the best of me and I get the best of Him. That willingness and availability means He can use me for His kingdom purposes and I don’t miss out on His plans for my life, (His good, pleasing and perfect will). Lord, may You be the focus of my thoughts today and the wisdom in all the choices I make. May my heart beat in time with Yours this week and Your life overflow through my mouth and my actions! Thank You that You loved me first, now help me to love You more and to show that love to others ❤
