“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalms 139:23-24 NLT
I need God to search my heart, because it doesn’t always tell me the whole truth and I am far too easily swayed by my fickle feelings and anxious thoughts. Lord, I want to travel your path of everlasting life, not my path of temporary gratification. May I know Your guiding hand and the joy of your stabilising presence, as I choose to fix my gaze on You 🙏🏼
