It can be so easy to miss the present when I am worried about the future, so Jesus teaches us to ask just for what I need for today. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, my provider so as I seek to follow You, I’m trusting that You will give me all that I need to accomplish all that You want me to do. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, taking as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it, trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will, that I may be reasonably happy with You in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen 🙏🏼
