I read a quote this week that said, ‘It’s hard to beat a person who never gives up!’ The Bible gives us great, practical wisdom as to how to keep going no matter what comes against us and the key is….. giving thanks! This is God’s will for you and me because it guards our minds and our hearts from being overwhelmed by the negative things we experience. One of my good friends told me we need to thank before we think! Thanks keeps my hope up, it reminds me of the good things I do have, of God’s presence with me and His promise to me. It’s the gateway to joy which returns strength to me, and it encourages me to keep trusting Him, to keep listening and responding to the work of His Spirit within me! Faithfulness comes from thankfulness 🙌🏼😊
