Jesus was sent to show us God’s love, not in a neat and tidy way to just make us feel good about ourselves; not to make us accepting of our brokenness; not to give us positive strokes so that we can try to be happy in this life. He came to deal with our sin once and for all so we could live supremely happy with Him for eternity! The cross where He died for us was brutal and messy but it was exactly what we needed. God taking our sins from us, by dying in our place was the greatest act of love that this world has ever seen! This is what results in freedom, eternal life, real relationship with our Heavenly Father! Lord, help me to have my eyes set on the things of heaven more than the things of earth. Send me, that I would be known for talking about and showing Your love more than anything else. Help me to love people enough to tell them about You! Amen 🙏🏼💪🏼
