Why do so many of us insist on carrying around stuff that Jesus wants to take away? Guilt is such a heavy burden that clogs up the heart, robs us of joy and peace and brings with it all sorts of other baggage that slows us down spiritually (shame, regret, anger, self-hatred…) We feel guilty for things we’ve done or not done, guilty for things we keep doing and even guilty for things that aren’t even our fault, and tho we might know that Jesus died to take that stuff, that He’s already paid the price to release us from it and that God has forgiven us, the real issue is that we can’t forgive ourselves! If that is you, then this is what God wants you to hear and receive and act on today, ‘I love you!! Stop giving airtime and voice to the accusations, accept my mercy and forgiveness and speak forgiveness over yourself! I declare you not guilty!! Be free through the blood of your Saviour, Jesus!! Now go in peace 🙌🏼❤️🛡💪🏼
