Death and life are in the power of the tongue, every time I open my mouth and speak I wield a weapon that can attack or defend, that can curse or bless; my words can tear down or build up, they can wound or heal, they can induce worry or instil courage! Lord help me to be mindful of the power of my tongue, careful with the words I speak today, that I might encourage others, my conversation gracious, speaking blessing and healing where I can, and bringing glory to Your name.
