“Or suppose a woman has ten silver coins and loses one. Won’t she light a lamp and sweep the entire house and search carefully until she finds it?” Luke 15:8 NLT
Jesus told three stories about lost things, one after the other to really hammer the message home that lost people matter to God. In this one the woman went to every length she could to locate that coin, expending oil for her lamp and extending her reach with a broom in her meticulous search. The point is that God sees each of us as incredibly precious, worth going to extraordinary lengths to come after and get back! He shone His light into this world, the arms of Jesus stretched out so that each one of us could be found! Lord thank You for loving me that much, help me as I join You in that recovery mission.
