The glory of God // 15-03-21

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the face of Christ.”2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭AMP‬‬

If you are anything like me then your prayer life usually consists of asking God for help and for things, my focus is often on His hand and what I want/need Him to do for me rather than just enjoying spending time with Him. But here we are reminded that light comes as we seek His face, not His hand, that it’s in seeing the glory and majesty of God, as we fix our eyes on Jesus Himself, that things really start to change! Lord, as I choose to invest some time today in seeking You, please shine into my heart the Light of the knowledge of Your glory and majesty! May I experience the joy of Your presence with a renewed sense of awe as I rest in Your love and grace, and realise how close you really are! Amen 🙏🏼

How does God best speak to you? Through nature, through His Word, through others, through music, or maybe something else? Whatever it is, take time to do it! Let’s be intentional this week, investing in our relationship with Him, praying, ‘God, Please, show me Your glory!’ Let me know how it goes ☀️😊
