If you squeeze a lemon what comes out is the juice inside, and in the same way, when we get squeezed (physically, mentally, emotionally) what is truly inside our hearts comes out in the things we say! You can have all the wisdom and knowledge you want in your mind, but often we speak without thinking when under stress, and that’s when what is in our hearts is revealed! Lord, come and cleanse my heart as I begin this new week, keep me close to You and secure in Your love, so that no matter what stress or pressure I face from a person or a situation, my words would speak of You, would be good and helpful and an encouragement to all those who hear them.
