Charles Wesley, the great 18th century preacher wrote these powerful words:
‘And can it be that I should gain
An interest in the Saviour’s blood! Died he for me? who caused his pain! For me? who him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be that thou, my God, shouldst die for me?’
Charles Spurgeon, the great 19th century preacher said that his entire theology could be condensed into four words – ‘Jesus died for me!’ Down through the centuries, this Good News of what God has done for us has been passed on, and continues to bring hope and freedom and life to millions! It’s not a complicated message, we can share it in four words! On this Good Friday who do you know who needs to hear that message of love and hope and grace? Go tell them ❤️🙌🏼
