“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colours. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” James 1:2-4 MSG
Here’s another verse reminding us that when we encounter problems and trials, it doesn’t have to be detrimental to our faith but can actually strengthen it! Rather than getting stuck in the question of, ‘Why God?’ it’s always better to remind myself that God is with me (His promise IS true) and to be asking the better question, ‘What do You want to do through this God?’ Maybe He is developing something in me, or maybe He is moving me? The ‘Why?’ question rarely gets answered to my satisfaction, but the ‘What?’ question encourages trust and spiritual growth! Lord, thank You that I can trust You even when things are dark and I don’t understand. Thank You that You are always working for my good. Help me to trust You more today. Amen 🙌🏼😊
