“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine.” Isaiah 43:1 NLT
Do you know how much God loves you and how much he paid to ransom you? Do you know that he has chosen you? Do you know that He is with you? When we go through dark and testing times our feelings can often cause us to doubt God’s presence, doubt His power, and doubt His love because why would He let me go through this? I might never understand the why, but I can still know the truth of His promise,
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” Isaiah 43:2 NLT
Thank You Lord that Your word is more trustworthy than my feelings, thank You that You are always with me even when difficulties come, and I can know Your love and care, and stand firm in Your promise, that as Your child, loved and called by You, You are working in me, moving me, and using all things for good.
