When you are walking in the dark holding a lamp it only gives light enough for your next step, it doesn’t show you the whole journey ahead! Without that light though it is so easy to get lost and off track! We need God’s Word daily, His light, to help us stay the path one faithful step at a time, reminded of His promise, His purpose, and reminded that the path we are on has a destination worth walking to! I might not see what is further ahead on route, but that’s ok because God does. All I need to do is to listen to His Word, my light, and take the next step. Lord, as I open my Bible today would You give me the wisdom, understanding, direction, and courage I need to keep walking Your way. May my light help others to find their way home too. Amen 💡😊
