On Friday night we received the tragic news of the death of North Vernon-White, the 15- year old son of a couple who come to our church. It is so difficult to process something so senseless, and it throws up so many questions that have no satisfactory answers. I’ve recently been talking about ‘The dark room’ as being a place where faith is tested and this is probably the darkest of them all! Yes, my flesh and my heart may fail me, humans aren’t designed to cope with shock and trauma, but this I do know, God IS the Strength of my heart! He can hold us up when life feels like it is breaking down, He is our Rock when things are shaking around us, and He can get us through as we hold on to Him!
