“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20 NLT
This is such a great description of what it means to be a Christian. It’s not always easy to live in this earthly body, navigating the passionate desires and inclinations that come with having a sinful nature. But Jesus has made a way, and because of His death, trusting in what He has done, I can die to my old self, freed from the obligation to obey whatever I think and feel that I want and need, freed to be filled with the Holy Spirit, to know God’s will, to be true to Him, living for a higher purpose and for His glory! I’m reminded all over again Lord, of Your amazing love, of the everlasting nature of all You have given me. Please use my life to show that same liberating love to those I know who so desperately need the life that only You can bring. Amen 🙌🏼❤️
