More often than not we come to God seeking His hand, looking for what He can do for us, what He can give us, or for Him to just hold us, and that’s ok, as long as we are also seeking His face. Because His face communicates what we need much more than His hand. When you look at someone’s face you are looking at who they are, you are attentive to what they are saying, and you are connecting at a deeper level eye to eye! Lord, I long to be in Your strength-giving, presence today, I’m looking for real relationship, not just what You can do for me, but to feel Your love, to hear Your voice, and to know Your will. As I seek You through worship, prayer and Your Word, may I see Your face. Help me to fix my eyes on You. Amen 🙌🏼😊
