The act of prayer is beneficial in so many different ways. It not only helps us to vocalise our thoughts and feelings as we pour out our hearts to God and cast our cares upon Him, a reminder that He is there with a wisdom and power beyond ourselves that we have access to. But in praying for others, and especially other believers, it reminds us that we are not alone, that we are part of something greater than just ourselves.
