So many people have a concept of God as angry and condemning, just waiting to catch us out and make us pay for our mistakes. And yet here we discover that He is actually incredibly merciful. He doesn’t give us what we deserve, in fact, because of Jesus we get what we don’t deserve, that’s grace, and we can experience real relationship with Him that brings forgiveness, righteousness and a comfort that strengthens us, not just for our own benefit, but so we can pass it on, show that same mercy and compassion, and make this world a better place. Lord, continue to work in me so that You can more effectively work through me. Amen 🙏🏼
