A promise from someone who can be trusted to keep that promise provides incredible stability and assurance. It is the hope that something will come to pass even if it hasn’t happened yet. It is a certainty to hold onto in an uncertain world. Jesus promised to always be with us, He is! He promised to rise from the dead, He did! And He promised that He would prepare a place for us and come back for us, He will! As we remember God’s promises, and all that they activate in our lives, we are comforted, revived, and fuelled to keep going! What promise from God are you bringing to mind and believing in today?
