Everything of this world is temporary, nothing here lasts very long when compared to forever, so we need to be really careful what or who we are putting our trust in and choosing to base our lives on! Jesus Himself said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.” Matthew 24:35 NIV
We have God’s written Word, the Bible, and we have the Living Word, Jesus Christ! Both claim to be eternal, solid rock, unchangeable, and I have discovered that the more I base my life on the Word of God, the more I get to know Jesus, trust in Him and obey His teaching, the more solid and inshakeable my life becomes too! Lord, as I open my Bible today with a desire to learn, would You speak to me, correct me, train me, equip me, change me, and lead me in Your ways. Amen 🙏🏼😊
