If you find the time today, go read the whole of this Psalm of David, which is a prayer for protection and guidance! I love his determination to seek God’s wisdom, to know His will, and to go His way. It is so easy to divert to paths that are not of God, to believe in ‘my truth,’ rather than to trust in what God says is true. Jesus taught us to pray, ‘Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil,’ because there will always be the pull to go down roads that are destructive to us if we are relying on our own insight and understanding. We need to hear His voice, like He promised Israel, that says, ‘This is the way, walk in it!’ Lord, keep me attuned to Your Word, so that I would attentively look for Your direction in everything. You are God, my Saviour, and my hope is in You all day long. Amen 🙏🏼
We had such an encouraging night on Wednesday, fixing our eyes on Jesus and listening for His direction. So many words of hope and life were shared, that I’ll send out next week. But we have another opportunity tomorrow morning at 10am – really hope you can make it 😊
