If you have ever said, ‘Count me in God,’ then you’ll recognise this struggle, but which gets the casting vote in your life right now? Who exerts the most influence? Am I guided more by my sinful nature or by the Holy Spirit? Am I more obedient to my cravings or to what the Bible says? It is a spiritual fight that we will always be in this side of eternity, but when we are aware of it, and when our hearts are orientated towards King Jesus, then we are much more likely to be guided by the Holy Spirit. Lord, Your will is always greater than mine, Your plans more extensive and fruitful. Help me not to miss out on the greater things You have for me now and in the future because of me chasing a temporary craving. Stir up a passion in me to keep running obediently and courageously after You, there’s nowhere else I want to be! Amen ❤️🔥🔥
