We often think that to be blessed means everything is great, that all is well, that we get all that our heart desires. But actually the definition of blessed is ‘made holy; consecrated, declared sacred,’ and that often comes with great challenge and sacrifice! To be truly blessed is to know that you are where God wants you to be, that you are doing what God wants you to do, and that comes from dwelling in His house, spending time in His presence, trusting in His strength, journeying with Him, according to His leading, and it is marked by a life that is looking heavenward, and filled with praise! Lord, keep me close to You this week, help me not to get distracted by the things that I want at the expense of what You want! Show me Your ways, lead me on that path of holiness and as I am blessed would you make me a blessing to those around me. Amen 🔥🙏🏼
