This was the word for today on YouVersion! It’s reminds me that the Bible is as relevant and up to date as it has always ever been! This proverb would have been written thousands of years ago, but it shows that the human experience, regardless of its time in history or the culture around it, is very much the same. We haven’t changed that much when it comes to suffering anxiety, needing encouragement, still very much in need of God, His Word, and His saving power! Lord, thank You for the encouragement Your Word gives to me. Would You help me to alleviate some of the anxiety in this world today, to speak a good, encouraging word to every person I meet, to be someone who lightens the load not adds to the weight! Amen 🙏🏼🔥
