The word good describes something that is of benefit and advantage, something that is morally right. In the Bible this word also has a meaning of something functioning as it should! So when we thank God for all He has done, for His presence and provision; when we praise Him for who He is, for His great promises and profundity (go look that word up!) when we proclaim His love each morning and His faithfulness each evening, starting and finishing each day with our focus on Him, it is always the right thing to do, it will always advantage us, it’s us doing what we were created to do and there is such benefit to us when we do! Lord, thank You for always being my refuge and strength, a very present help, thank You that with You I need never fear, thank You for loving me, for Your faithfulness towards me. Help me to live in the light of all that You are today, knowing Your goodness, and functioning as I should. Amen 🙏🏼❤️
