This is the final ‘I am’ statement of Jesus, making another exclusive claim that if we want to do something that has eternal value, of heavenly significance, something that will bear much fruit that will last forever, then we need to be connected to Him! In Him grows love, joy, peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control. In Him we find Kingdom purpose. In Him we find forgiveness and restoration. In Him we find resurrection life in all its fullness! Lord, save me from spiritual disconnection, from trying to connect to other people, other things, or other devices, looking for what only You can truly give. Help me to seek You, to remain in You the true, life-giving vine. Thank You for remaining with me, tending to me, and pruning me when need be. May my life be increasingly fruitful this year. Amen 🍇🙏🏼
