“Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God [set aside self-righteous pride], so that He may exalt you [to a place of honour in His service] at the appropriate time, casting all your cares [all your anxieties, all your worries, and all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares about you [with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully].” 1 Peter 5:6-7 AMP
This is a similar verse to yesterday’s, that same invitation to cast ALL your cares on to God, that as I stop trying to do it all by myself, if I stop thinking it’s all on me to sort it out, as I come to Jesus and offload on to Him, receiving His strength and trusting in His plan and capability, then He will lift me up, uphold me, get me where He needs me to be. Lord, thank You for Your loving care for me, help me today to rest in the security of Your hands. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼
