He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 AMP
God has a plan for His world and though I might never comprehend the full scope of it in this life that’s ok! I can trust that it is a good plan because I have discovered through Jesus that He is good! My job is to get to know Him, my longing for meaning not found in working out all the details of His plan and getting satisfactory answers to all my questions, but to grow in relationship with the One who knows it all and holds it all! That’s where my longing will be satisfied as I believe and trust in Him! Lord, thank You for setting eternity in my heart, for planting in me a divine purpose. Help me not to get sidetracked by things under the sun that can never satisfy but to draw closer to You, to trust Your timing and to see the beauty that can be found in this moment today. Amen 👆🏼🙏🏼❤️
