Happy new year! These verses came up twice at our baptism service yesterday, and this biblical wisdom is so worth heeding if 2024 is going to be marked by God’s good, pleasing and perfect plans for our lives! A post I read yesterday said, ‘New beginnings don’t start with a turning of a calendar page. New beginnings start by turning to Jesus!’ So Lord, may this year be marked by a faith-filled and daring turning to and trust in You; by NOT depending on my own understanding or by following my own heart but by following You, seeking Your will in all I do, every decision dependent and centred on You Jesus, believing that You will always show me which path to take! And in that wholehearted trusting of You, help me to be radically obedient to You. Thank You that no matter what this new year holds You ARE with me, providing for me, leading me, loving me and I have nothing to fear. Amen 🎉🙌🏼❤️
