In nearly all the letters written by Paul in the New Testament you’ll see these words in the opening paragraphs; this reminder and disseminating of grace and peace that we can receive from God as we put our trust in Him; the inner calm and spiritual well-being that we need more than anything else in this fight of faith! It’s this that helps us stand firm whatever the circumstances we encounter and whatever or whoever comes against us! So I want to speak out that same grace and peace to each one of us, with the reminder that we don’t have to panic, fear, rage, or react in a knee-jerk way today, but we can stand with an inner calm, knowing that whatever happens Jesus has got me and it won’t defeat me, so it is well with my soul!
