Wherever you get groups of people together there are always opportunities for getting on each other’s nerves. There will be disagreements and disputes, misunderstandings and fallings out. People will say offensive things whether intentionally or not, because none of us are perfect, we don’t have all the facts and we’re all a work in progress! So the Bible gives us clear instructions on how to safeguard our community, and how to respond when these situations arise. Lord, help me to release any grudge I might have been holding and feeding, and as I walk in forgiveness may I experience once again the freedom and the joy that comes from making love my highest goal.
