Offences will come, some intentionally but most often not, but I don’t have to take that offence. When I take offence it is literally like holding a fence, it becomes a barrier between us where we encourage others to take sides, my side of the fence or yours. It’s a tool of the enemy to cause division and separation which becomes deeper the more I repeat it and talk about it! But love breaks down barriers! To cover or to overlook an offence means not focusing on the hurtful thing but choosing to look beyond it, to see the bigger picture, to let love define me rather than the hurt. Lord, help me to forgive and to make amends. Help me to build bridges instead of fences. Amen 🙏🏼
