Power within // 27-04-20

“We are like common clay jars that carry this glorious treasure within, so that the extraordinary overflow of power will be seen as God’s, not ours.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭4:7‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Our job in this world is not to make a name for ourselves. In fact the rich and famous are often the most insecure and unhappy! We were never meant to be put on pedestals and worshipped. Our job is to make known the name of Jesus, to worship Him! So let’s not resent being ordinary, because ordinary is where God chooses to place His most precious and powerful treasure! Ordinary is what God uses to get His salvation message out to other ordinary people, to show them that that they are actually more valued and loved that they could ever know. As Christians we carry Good News, the power of God (having the ability and authority) to bring the dead to life, to enable forgiveness of sins and to move people from darkness into light! So let’s stir up the gift within, let’s open our mouths and tell someone about Jesus! We get the privilege of introducing people to the God who saves, and when we do, we can know His incredible power working in us and through us, even today! 🙌🏼🙏🏼
