Victory means to defeat an enemy or opponent, to win! Today we celebrate victory in Europe, marking the end of one of the worst wars in our history 75 years ago and it is good that we remember! But let’s not get complacent, there are still battles to win, spiritually speaking, evil has not yet given up the fight, and even tho Satan is a defeated foe he is still very much on the offence! In one sense we are still in that time between D Day and VE Day, between the death and resurrection of Jesus, that marked victory over sin and death, and the time when He will come back again! In the meantime we need to pray, we need to raise up a victory shout, and we need to announce His Kingdom come! May the Lord answer all your prayers 🙏🏼
