The moment I turned to Jesus He saved me, and the Bible is clear that I became a new person at that point, born again, adopted in, child of God, citizen of heaven, forgiven, set free, the old has gone and new life has begun! How amazing is that? But that’s not the end of the story, God now wants me to live this new life, to transform me more and more into His likeness, to know His will and to do it! But it takes letting go of the old life. It means no longer living for myself but learning how to live for Jesus! So many of us get stuck and see such little change because we still want to live our own lives, we still obey our own thoughts and feelings much more than we obey the Word of God. Lord, thank You for the new life You have given me, now help me live it to the full. Teach me Your ways and change my way of thinking and living as I turn from my former life and set my heart on knowing You. Amen 🙏🏼
