Come, let us sing // 20-11-20

“Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” Psalms‬ ‭95:1-2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

This Psalm is an invitation to worship, a call to praise the One who is worth it! Reading on we find out why? Because He is the God who has created this beautiful world around us, and He is the One who cares so much for us! But there’s also a warning in there, ‘Don’t harden your hearts!’ That’s what happens when we don’t listen for His voice, when we don’t read His Word, when we don’t do what He says. But, as we praise, our hearts are turned back to Him, and that’s why it is so important that we do! Lord, soften my heart today, May it be filled with joy and strengthened in faith as I choose to praise Your name again. Amen 🙏🏼👍🏼

The song I woke up with today was ‘Famous for (I believe)’ by Tauren Wells. Have a listen, be encouraged, and come say hi on Sunday morning as we gather together online, to worship our great King Jesus!
