It’s said that we should listen twice as much as we speak, that’s why God gave us two ears and one mouth 😊 We can apply this to our relationship with God too. Sometimes we can be so busy talking and telling Him everything that we want Him to do, and then we sign off with an Amen, and we never take the time to listen, which can really help to calm our angry thoughts and responses. So how’s it been going this week? What has God been saying to You as you’ve opened your Bible and opened your ears? Have you heard words of comfort and encouragement, or has it been something more challenging? Or are you still struggling to discern anything He is saying? Lectio 365 (App) has been a great help to me, based around the acrostic PRAY – Pause, Rejoice & Reflect, Ask, Yield! Such a simple way of listening to God and communicating with Him. 🙏🏼🙌🏼😊
