This Sunday is the first of Advent, marking a time of expectant waiting for both the celebration of the Nativity of Christ and the return of Christ. It’s a reminder that we are in the in-between time of now but not yet when it comes to the Kingdom, a time to think about all that Jesus has already done by His arrival on the earth, but that the best is yet to come; a time to renew hope, whatever our circumstances are like right now. Lord, help me to wait quietly and confidently, as I put my trust in You, my Rock and my Salvation. Amen 🙏🏼
