“When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.” Romans 1:12 NLT
It is so important that we share with each other what God is saying and doing in and through our lives. Every one of us needs to hear that inspiration and motivation from others, but also to speak it out and to be that inspiration and motivation. I love that I get to preach week in and week out, it motivates me to have a living, up to date experience of God so that when I get up and speak it is more than just information I am sharing. But what encourages me even more is when other people share their faith and testimony with me. It makes me want to know God even better! I’d love to hear how God is working in you and through you, and to hear more individual testimonies in church. Let’s not underestimate our part in bringing encouragement as we share testimony, and speak words of faith, hope, and love to each other! And if you don’t feel you have anything encouraging to share, then ask God to give you something! Lord, I want to play my part in building a healthy community, speak to me, use me, give me an up to date testimony of your goodness, that my words and my actions would bless and encourage someone else. Amen 🙏🏼❤️
As you get ready for church this Sunday, don’t just think about what you are going to receive, consider what God want’s you to bring, and get ready for a divine appointment 🙌🏼
