I don’t know about you but I don’t find it easy learning to live freely and lightly. My goals are often driven by a subconscious need to prove my worth, and to win approval, and that can feel heavy, beating myself with the stick of am I doing enough? This week I’ve been taken out by back pain, barely able to walk and having to cancel my plans, but its causing me to learn all over again that my worth is not related to my activity, it’s much more about keeping company with Jesus! Lord, thank You that Your love is not dependent on what, or how much, I do. Teach me how to live freely and lightly, not striving to earn Your approval, but resting in all You have done. Please deal with my hidden motives, and use me for Your glory, in as much or as little a way as You see fit, and help me to trust You in that. Amen 🙏🏼
