There’s a saying that God will never give you more than you can handle! Some people think it’s from the Bible but it’s not, and it’s also not true! We will all go through things at times that are more than we can handle on our own. It’s not clear what it is exactly that Paul is referring to here, but it was something that happened on his travels through Asia. What we do know is that it was outside his control and felt like much more than he could handle. But look at the outcome, rather than damaging his faith in a God of love and power, his faith grew!! Lord, thank You for those times in my life that have helped me realise that I am not God, and how much I need you. Help me learn to rely on You more, and, like Paul, see the breakthrough and the miracle of a changed life that only happens as I trust and obey You. Amen 🙏🏼
