As a world we are facing many trials right now, be that the impact of climate change, economic uncertainty, the ongoing pandemic, and the threat of a wider war breaking out, literally, ‘terror on every side,’ as the Psalmist puts it! In the moment these trials seem never ending and can feel overwhelming, but let’s not forget that compared to eternity they are just a little while! This world and all that God created is moving forward, He is in the process of redeeming His creation, and as Christians we have the hope of resurrection! Lord, help me to keep in mind the wonderful joy ahead, the fullness of Your Kingdom come, that we get to see the outworking of Your master salvation plan! And in the meantime, renew my strength, give me the resilience to keep trusting and serving You. Amen 🙏🏼
