“For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].” Ephesians 2:10 AMP
This is one of my favourite, go to verses, reminding me of God’s redeeming work in my life; that my identity and destiny is not determined by my sinful nature, I am not the sum total of my past experiences, or my present thoughts and feelings, but there is a better and more authentic version of me, and a good future to come, that is recovered and outworked as I discover how God sees me, as I trust in His design and plan for my life, and as I choose to walk in His ways. Lord, lead me today, help me to stay the course, to access and enjoy the good life that You have opened up for me. Amen 🙏🏼
