“Blessed [joyful, nourished by God’s goodness] are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness [those who actively seek right standing with God], for they will be [completely] satisfied.” Matthew 5:6 AMP
What is causing dissatisfaction in your life right now? Where are you running to, what are you turning to, to quench that hunger and thirst? How is that working for you? Jesus is clear that contentment is only found in relationship with Him, when we have peace with God – right-standing, living for His purpose and glory – that’s what are hearts are ultimately craving for anyway; that it’s as we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness that we then discover that He satisfies us with everything else that we need. Lord, thank You for saving me, now come and rule and reign in me, and as I look to You, may my heart be freed to pursue the things of Your heart. Amen 🙌🏼😊
