“And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20 NLT
Throughout the Bible, on numerous occasions, to His chosen people and to individuals, God issues a command to go, to move, to do the things He has planned for them to do, to go live a life of faith, and it is never an easy choice, often fraught with difficulties from a human perspective. But there is always the accompanying promise that He will always be with them! That means access to God’s leading, His wisdom, and His power. If it’s true that where God guides, God provides then surely, despite the seemingly insurmountable obstacles and opposition at times, it is still the most fruitful and satisfying place to be? So will we trust Him? That’s what it always comes down to. It did for the Israelites, It did for the disciples. Trust and obey, or do things my way? I’ve learned in my 53 years that trusting Him is always the best option, no matter how inconvenient or scary it can feel on occasions. Lord, I want my life to count, to live out my God-given purpose. Save me from the temptations, insecurities and fears that have the potential to stop me from wholeheartedly trusting You. May I know Your life-giving presence with me this week as I determine to go Your way, my trust wholly in You Jesus. Amen 🙌🏼😊
Have a great bank holiday Monday everyone! ❤️
