I’ve just woken up with the words, ‘Choose life!’ In my head. Back in the eighties this was a popular slogan which was a call to do what you want while you can! But in the Bible it has a very different meaning! Loving God, obeying Him, and committing myself firmly to Him IS the key to experiencing life as it was meant to be lived. It’s a choice between life and death, blessings and curses! You’d think that would be an easy choice to make, but we are so easily deceived, so influenced by our sinful desires that it becomes a real battle for our hearts and minds! Lord, I want to choose the way of everlasting life, so show me how to love You wholeheartedly, teach me to live obediently, every decision I make faithful to following You! Amen 🙌🏼❤️
