If you hear my voice… // 08-06-22

“I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference. “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.” Revelation‬ ‭3:19-20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

To be diligent is to be attentive and persistent, showing care and interest – it’s the opposite of indifference! My challenge to myself and to my church at this time (to break any indifference) is to actively seek God’s will, to listen for His direction, what is God saying to you? But there’s a warning that goes with that, be prepared for Him to interrupt your plans and to challenge your thinking! If you hear His voice, there’s a decision to make…to open the door and invite him in! Lord, thank You for the interest and care You have shown in me, thank You for knocking on my door, for Your desire for relationship, to eat with me, to talk with me, to work with me. May You find the door of my heart open and welcoming, open to Your correction and discipline, open to what You want for my life. May I know more and more how great a friend You really are Amen 🙌🏼❤️🙏🏼
